Trajectory - Develop together with your team.

Phase 1 - Workshop business drawing
We start with taking away thoughts like "I can't draw". Everyone can draw and has drawn, even before it started to write. By doing a short introduction course into business drawing, we show that by using simple shapes, every object or element can be drawn. And that it is easier than first imagined. This helps people to get into the right drawing mindset.

Phase 4 - Convey the message
When all components come together the overall illustration is made. Often that starts with a first concept. And these need to be tested. A good way of testing is to present the message to one other and see how the group responds or resonates. Communicate clearly and purposefully. That creates impact!

Phase 3 - Choosing images
Per part (of the strategy) we brainstorm about (visual) ideas and the floor fills up with drawings. After every part we discuss these. What resonates within the group? Which drawing are appealing and why? That's how we decide which elements we use for the overall illustration.

Phase 2 - Brainstorming
In this process of developing or drawing a new strategy, we go through all elements and draw the elements out whilst discussing them. Usually we start with a bit of company history. What is going well? What isn't? What legacy is there? But we also look at new trends. We discuss what the dot on the horizon should be. How do we get there, what obstacles do we need to overcome and what culture is needed?

Intro
A shared strategy is build together. To stay away from limiting details or beliefs, we work as visually as possible. Together with your organisation, department or team we help you build the next strategy, vision, mission or core values. Using illustrations, that we build together, we co-create an illustration, interactive webpage or animation.

Step 1: Preparation
We discuss what is already in place and what we can build on. We align on who is in the working group, which people we will consult for input during sessions, and what the desired results and timeline are.
Step 2: Execution
We start at a strategic level by developing or revisiting the mission, vision and core values, often using Simon Sinek's Golden Circle model. With the leadership team we define the ambition. Using the Value Proposition Canvas we map the client and their proposition. At a tactical level we gather input on the how through creative working methods, with attention to innovations and trends. At an operational level, objectives are translated into actions, roles and responsibilities. We also assist with writing the strategy or policy documents and develop visual roadmaps for the why and the how of the organisation.
Step 3: Delivery
The client receives the documents and visual roadmap(s) digitally. A strategy trajectory takes an average of 2 to 10 months, depending on the client's availability. After delivery we look at what is still needed to make the translation into plans or annual plans.
Process - how long does it take?
On average we start with a 2-day workshop, using these four phases. Secondly, we start with the digitalization of the drawings into a first digital black and white concept illustration. Then at least one more session is needed to run through this illustration and see if optimalisations can be made. And finally we detail and color the illustration so it can be printed and put on the wall.
Is the strategy already developed and are you exited to realize it?
