Visual Connectors

Visuele Verbinders (aka Visual Connectors) is a collective of entrepreneurial designers. We facilitate strategy design with the use of business drawing. We help organizations to develop, communicate and realize solutions in a visual way.

We love projects, where complexity is high and where getting people on board is crucial to realize impact. We help you to get the ideas out of people's mind onto paper and into reality.

We are curious, open (minded), critical and entrepreneurial. We believe in fluid forms of collaboration, where connection leads to reinforcement.

Active since 2013, we have served more than 400 clients and completed more than 1000 projects, for organisations in education, healthcare, infrastructure and technology, government and the corporate domain. One of our visual roadmaps even found its way to the Royal House.

Our vision

Verbinden is a Dutch ambigue word for connecting, bonding, engaging, binding, joining and more. To bond is to strengthen. That is our belief. We not only show that belief in our services where we using drawing as a means to facilitate strategy and process development. But we share that believe amongst ourselves. For the best results, you simply need the best people. And the best creatives are not easily bonded ... That is why, as a collective, we work together and combine availability with continuity and flexibility. As entrepreneurs we are own brand and will always give a 110%.

Jeroen van der Liende

Founder | Visual Thinker

Jeroen is the main point of contact for the organisation and facilitates strategy trajectories across various sectors as well as designing visual materials. He is the founder of Visuele Verbinders and has been active in the field since 2013.

Jeroen is often the center point when it comes to client contact, new project acquisition, team composition and project management. But most of all, he loves to be (visually) involved in the projects. His sharp & critical attitude, as well as his large memory come in handy to control complexity.

Rob Jansen

Visueel Consultant | Facilitator Workshops | Veranderkundige

Rob is a facilitator and change manager and has been associated with Visuele Verbinders for over 10 years. He helps teams and organisations sharpen their ambition and take steps together towards change.

Rob Jansen is an experienced advisor and project facilitator in the area of innovation and sustainability. In recent years he has been involved in many different (infra) tenders, initiatives and projects. With a background in change management and a keen creative and visual mind, he is certainly able to create the right impact with visual development.

Jorn Ouborg

Visualizer | Product Designer

Jorn draws many technical subjects and handles most of the graphic layout of documents and logos. He has been associated with Visuele Verbinders for 7 years.

Jorn is both visualizer as product designer. As head designer at speaker brand Kien, he combines his Design Thinking skills with his unmatched love for drawing and drawing challenges.

Eline de Haan

Organization advisor | Facilitator

Eline works as an organizational advisor and enjoys tackling organizational challenges that require creativity and broad involvement. She has been collaborating with Visuele Verbinders for nearly 10 years.

Eline likes working on complex organizational issues that call for a solid dose of creativity and engagement from people at all levels within the organization and beyond—that’s truly her thing. She enjoys bringing people together and motivating them to contribute to a new vision, strategy, substantive issue, or evaluation and research.

Marco van Leeuwen

Visueel Denker | Industrieel Ontwerper

Marco draws in many different styles and comes up with surprising concepts. He has been an illustrator and designer at Visuele Verbinders for over 10 years.

Marco loves a creative challenge. As a industrial designers he has done a lot of design sprints. From developing customer journeys to visualizing detailed new concepts. His design approach and mentality ensures the best results for every project.

Hans-Jan Rijbering

Visueel Denker | Strateeg

Hans-Jan combines a background as a business consultant with designing visual materials. He has been working at Visuele Verbinders for 6 years.

With a background as a business consultant Hans-Jan combines creative skills with business consulting professional experience. He analyses quickly and likes to give (creative) advise in change management assignments. He works as a facilitator, trainer, illustrator, animator and does live graphical recordings.

Trevor Humphres

Illustrator | Designer

Trevor is our English-speaking illustrator and designer and handles many illustration assignments and interactive illustrations. He has been working for Visuele Verbinders for 3 years.

Trevor is a talented illustrator, that can work in different styles. As a native american, his Dutch still needs improvement. He works with our international clients as co-designs and illustrates for our national clients.

Vera van Groos

Visual Strategist | Illustrator

Vera is a visual strategist and illustrator. She enjoys making complex topics clear and tangible, always with people at the center.

As an illustrator with a passion for quick sketching, Vera is particularly skilled at visualizing live conversations in real time. She excels at translating complex subjects into clear visuals, especially when the human perspective is central. In both her work and collaborations, she is empathetic and cheerful, with a healthy sense of humor.

As the labour market gets more and more flexible, new ways of collaborating in (fluid) teams become more and more important. As Visual Connectors, we continuously search for expansion of our team. Preferably, highly skilled illustrators with a sharp mind that can match our "Visuele Verbinders" quality mark. We always strive to offer a unique mix of skills and individuals to our clients!
